Our big winter project still chugs on: the basement remodel. We have a great space almost the entire length of the house where we are now hobbits. The basement has provided a great family space with a big media area, a home office and a craft area. Chad's dad came up in October and helped us totally frame and insulate the area, along with wire it for all our new gadgets. We are enjoying the space so much and it's the only room in the house with carpet, so Adler is a maniac down here: running and flailing around! It is so fun to now look at the before shots and appreciate how lucky we are to have this amazing area that we call home.
